This week, I've used three skeins of Stylecraft Special DK to make a Three-Color Scarf. You can, of course, use whatever yarn is your favorite. I've provided the stitch count so you can customize however you like.
I've used three colors because one of my favorite techniques is to make stripes without cutting the yarn after each color change. You'll see it in my work often. When you change colors, you just drop the old color and the new one is waiting right there. I changed color every row but still only had six strands to weave in when I finished.
The most difficult part of this project is deciding which side is the "front". I tried to stick with tradition and I'm showing the front side but I really love the "wrong" side better. You be the judge.
The pattern is available in full at the link, but I have also included links to Ravelry and Etsy so you can purchase the PDF version.
Things are slowly coming together
at Make It Crochet. Please be patient as I continue to add more patterns for you. I have several WIPs going (works-in-progress). Two blankets, two scarves and one shawl are vying for my attention right now.
Until next time, Happy Crocheting!
