Since I've been working on summer tops lately, I couldn't resist sharing this one with you. This is a design I sold to Annie's and it was first published in Crochet World magazine in April 2010.

You may have noticed a little slow-down to my pattern production this month.

I know that many of you know that I'm trying to provide a new free crochet pattern each week. I feel like I did pretty well with this goal for a year and I have nearly 70 patterns now available at Make It Crochet! This month, though, things started to get different.

My step father had knee replacement surgery on March 1. He needs lots of trips to the doctor and physical therapy will start next week. The driving time alone is about an hour each way. So, while I'll still be pushing out as many free crochet patterns as I'm able, I won't be pushing out one each week until he can drive again.

This isn't really going to take a long time, but it will be about a month or two. No worries. It will be like a drop in the bucket in the grand scheme of things. This is actually the reason I started my own company and moved close to my mother. I am here when I'm needed. Family is always the most important thing. :-)
