I don't know about you but I'm so ready to get back to crocheting! I've spent about five weeks setting up and building out a video studio so I can provide some videos for MakeItCrochet.

It took a lot longer than I thought it would. I thought I was just going to be able to pick up where I left off five years ago when I last made YouTube videos. My son let me know that things had changed a great deal since then and it's not any wonder that I had to relearn everything.

But, I'm writing to say that my first videos are now available! I've started with the Thunderbird Mandala Baby Blanket, Tunisian Nautilus Scarf and Twisted Headband. These aren't full project videos since I already have the written patterns. Think of them more like guides to get through any tricky bits.

The videos are available directly at the site and they are also available on my YouTube Channel (please subscribe, if you can). If you need the left-handed videos, they are on my YouTube Channel as well.

I still haven't mastered the short 60-second style videos seen on Instagram and TikTok, but I may need to set that aside for now because I really do need to crochet again. :-)

Last year, at this time, I released this pattern for the

Petticoat Lace Crochet Shawl. It would look great in any color and the stitch pattern would make a great lacy summer throw too!
