On a personal note, I've been trying to get into shape for the last year. I've lost 45 pounds! It turns out that you can gain a lot of weight when your son is making delicious goodies to put on his website!
I've made some dietary changes. I have been meal prepping a couple of things on repeat. It helps to have a meal ready to eat, instead of grabbing whatever Christian is working on at the moment. And no liquid calories! Hey, Starbucks Frappaccino, I'm looking at you!
I also have lots of
100-120 calorie snacks in the cupboard. Instead of grabbing a piece of blueberry bread that Christian has made, I grab a blueberry "That's It" mini bar (aff link) for about 70 calories.
For exercise, I have a Quest VR (aff link). I play about 30 minutes of Beat Saber or Synth Riders every day. What fun that's been! I'm not really an exercise person so this has been an amazing surprise to me. Now, if I can just work on getting 8 full hours of sleep each day! 😅
